It's a challenge for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are all that remain for a side that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

She was challenged by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, out to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but this time it merely gave Healy's motivation.

One run resulted off the opening delivery and from that point the batsman was underway.

"A chance to go out there and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was dismissed her side needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the last competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she afterwards commented she wished she had played despite the injury.
